Falcon History I bought this car in 1996 in Athol, MA. It had been sitting since 1975 in a back yardnever started again with a 6 cylinder in it. The motor was frozen stiff and the two back wheels
wouldn't turn, we finally get one unfrozen and the other we had to take it off and work it with
a hammer and oil it started to turn we dragged it up on a flatbed and got it home. I started on
this Falcon in 1996 and have been spending money on it ever since that time. I hate to tell you
how much I have spent on this car; lets just say it is worth more than a new car. OUCH! I figure you only go through life once and after this one, I do have a 1963 convertible waiting
in my garage to roll out also. That one needs very little work on the body and top.
She is very nice looking I should say. It does not have the right six in it but the one I have
taken out of the sedan will be rebuilt and placed right in. I must tell you if I was ever to do this again I would. Not being an expert
on restoring cars has had it’s tolls to pay I have learned a lot since the beginning. There is
only one way you can do this and that is while you have it apart build it right. When I was 15 years old I saw my first 1963 Falcon Futura Muscle car with a 260 V8 it was a
pretty green and must have been pushing the limit on horse power, needless to say I fell in
love with having one. When I was in my teens, I attempted to build one, bought all the parts
for a motor, In addition, never built it. I still have all the parts. As the years went on. . .
you know life. My name Spencer Falcon came from a CB handle I used to have years ago because I had so many
Falcons. My first car was a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura for $25.00 I registered it and drove it for
4 years. Since that time I have owned 1 1961, 2 1962's, 3 1963's, and 1 1964. I have enjoyed all my Falcons and have had plenty of good times. Once this car is done, I will
enjoy it for the rest of it's time with me until I finish it and sell it, only to built a new old rod. And will gladly show it to the world. We have a lot to do with this Web page yet, and hope all enjoy my pics and please ask me
anything you would like to know, or just write and say hi and show me your car I love looking at others. Thanks for Visiting Dave Metterville Back
